What is it about?
The study explains hand discomfort and hand strength during bike riding. Qualitative evaluation of hand discomfort was done among bike riders using Cornell Hand Discomfort Questionnaire. Handgrip dynamometer and pinch gauge were used for quantitative evaluations. The experimental trials were conducted in different road conditions and hand gripping conditions.

Grip strength of both hands is important for bike riders. The variations in hand strength is lesser in riding with hand gloves and better road conditions. The usage of hand gloves supports the hand activities of bike riders.
