What is it about?

This book chapter described a collaboration between myself and a faculty member on delivering an e-portfolio exercise as part of a general education course. Although my original intent was to focus on information literacy skills, I found that students also came to me with technical questions about setting up their e-portfolios. I viewed this as an appropriate role for the librarian to take up. As an information professional, librarians are well-placed to provide advice on both information content and guidance on the use of e-portfolio platforms.
