This chapter tells the story of how I started developing an interest in theatre for children in hospital.

it aims to raise awareness about the role of the arts in child healthcare complementing traditional medicine.
Perspectives
Writing this chapter was a great opportunity to discuss the first steps of making theatre in hospital wards. I hope that it will make people think about the demand of creative activities for children in hospitals and the value of sharing and caring through the arts.
