What is it about?
The paper is an introduction to the study of the relationship between linguistic units (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, etc.) and spatial cognition. The paper tries to answer the question whether the study of the relations between language and space should be restricted to closed-class linguistic elements (prepositions, particles, etc.) or whether the role of open-class elements should be considered as well.
