What is it about?

Bangladesh is the second largest garment exporter in the world after China, and the pharmaceutical industry of the country has achieved remarkable development. Bangladesh is one of the few developing countries that export pharmaceutical products to the developed countries. This chapter explains why Bangladesh is highly successful in achieving remarkable growth in garment and pharmaceutical industries.

Most of the industries in the developing countries are either stagnant or grow only by the number of entrepreneurs. Our study explains what might the possible factors in the remarkable development of the garment and pharmaceutical industries in Bangladesh. This is important for the policymakers and researchers.
