What is it about?

Solid metal /metal oxide/particles are prepared of nanometer size. As solids have higher thermal conductivity compared to liquids, dispersion of these in liquids (nanofluids) have enhanced thermo-physical properties which have wide applications in heat exchange processes, preparation of lubricants, coatings on surfaces, for enhancing solar photovoltaic energy and even in curing cancer.
