What is it about?
Several topical contemporary and futures-orientated business concerns are articulated, analysed & assessed around the main theme of Foresight Intelligence (FORINT) in this book. Spanning 15 chapters, the book's content consists of covering three main topic groups - notably: (i) several differently configured cyber scenarios; (ii) the use to further optimisation of estimative/probabilistic language. (iii) Advancing enhanced evaluation of Gen-AI systems + tech., & role emerging Causal AI plays. The second-half of the book introduces an alternative scenario planning process, including use of new computer software + AI tools. This work helps to address the complexities & uncertainties encountered when carrying out foresight for real-world problems. It also takes us beyond merely only focusing on 4 scenarios (options)!

Why is it important?
This book has been authored for (helping with) ‘expectation management’ - e.g. Gen-AI & ‘Digital Twins’ are exponentially developing and are still in early breakthrough stages onto the overall business scene(s) + require their further understanding. Frenetic ‘hyped-up’ + ‘disruptive’ dimensions of the technologies covered (e.g. Gen-AI to cyber) require more balanced view(s) through the communication of realised research experiment- & evidence-based insights, as provided by this book. The work undertaken also meets the benchmark of increasingly standardised & best practice intelligence end-user criteria of being STARC - Specific, Timely, Accurate, Relevant, and Clear - across several different levels of activity.
Perspectives
This book provides a ‘strategic insurance vehicle’ , which can be integrated into any stakeholders' own custom decision-making & risk analysis processes + be adapted to specific needs + circumstances of their organisation(s). Thereby, helping mitigate ‘(strategic) surprise!', much (Strategic) Early-Warning (SEW) potential is offered - helping to anticipate possible experiences + other probable encounters before they happen.
