What is it about?

A chapter that reviews the knowledge up to 2012 on human Pregnane X Receptor ligand and protein based models.

Why is it important?

It brings together docking and ligand based approaches as methods to predict a molecules interaction with PXR. It predominantly focuses on agonists although it does include discussion of modeling for antagonists.

Perspectives

The chapter includes useful advice for avoiding PXR. I have been involved in writing several papers on PXR with both Sandhya and Matt so this brought together our ideas.
