Why is it important?

We consider the argument that the evaluation of organizational changes in the delivery of health services should include the simulation of health system operations. In turn, the methodological rigor of evaluative studies should be applied to the analysis of simulation experiments. We review the implications of such an approach for both the design and analysis of simulation studies.
