What is it about?

The article discusses various methods of copper and lead recovery from copper slag. The slag was crushed and screened or subjected to min. magnetic separation as well as it was leached with various types of solutions. As a result of the leaching, solutions were obtained from which both copper and lead could be recovered.

The processing methods studied are ecological and have a much less negative impact on the environment.

Perspectives

The described processes could be widely used to recover valuable components from the waste of the non-ferrous metal industry.
