What is it about?

Antibiotics, chemicals, and probiotics are often used in aquaculture activities to successfully culture species. We have shown a comparison of the effectiveness of the application of erythromycin in the rearing of Scylla paramamosain mud crab larvae development to the crablet stage compared to the elbayau and RICA probiotics.

Our findings show that the application of erythromycin in larvae rearing of mud crabs is most effective compared to elbayau and RICA probiotics to support the larvae develop into the crablet stage.
