What is it about?
Online teaching and learning tools offer many features for both instructors and students. What are the impacts of these tools on students' final grades as a measure of learning outcomes? We compare two competing online learning tools in this study.

Why is it important?
The ways to measure students' learning outcomes matter. Although the final grade is one way to measure the learning outcomes, it is important to look at other variables that make up the final grade.
