What is it about?

 Investigating the effect of hybrid conduction, convection and thermal radiation simultaneously on the heat transfer rate.  Statistical analysis of the results by using of two maximum and minimum target Function heat transfer rates.  Lattice Boltzmann simulation of a channel internal flow with rectangular cylinder.

Why is it important?

The innovation of this study is to investigate the combination effect of thermal radiation and convection in the hybrid heat transfer between solid and fluid in a channel. The Lattice Boltzmann Method based on the D2Q9 scheme has been utilized for modeling fluid and temperature fields.

Perspectives

Hybrid heat transfers in a channel with thermal radiation and force convection effect has many industrial applications including energy storage systems, thermal control of electronic devices and cooling of radioactive waste containers.
