What is it about?
Balance of payments (BOP) shows a summary of all money and goods that come into a country and go out of a country in one year. This paper analysis the size of BOP, and identifies the responsible factors for the BOP problems in Afghanistan from 2004 to 2020.

Why is it important?
In this paper, first the BOP has been explained in detailed with empirical data from Afghanistan. Then annual performance of the BOP of Afghanistan has been analyzed and responsible factors has been identified. Third, ARDL model has been used to find the impact of several variables on the BOP using Afghanistan data. This paper can be a GREAT LEAD to analyze the BOP of developing countries and least developed countries.
