What is it about?

In this study, we looked at ankle muscle activity and the forces that cross the bottom of the foot during walking in young adults with and with chronic instability of the ankle.

Why is it important?

The information in this study provides additional insight regarding the mechanics of the foot and ankle that can be used by health-care providers when caring for individuals with chronic ankle instability.
