What is it about?

As a Canadian South Asian female educator and researcher, I worked with two South Asian girls, their mothers, and teachers to explore our experiences. This chapter reflects on an incident of discrimination faced by a young participant in her school, where an authority figure un/intentionally highlighted harmful differences that affected her. I share how an artful experience helped to shape positive stories of identity.
