What is it about?

Hurricanes are seasonal events affecting many communities. Regular training of communities at risk, establishing protocols for evacuation and identifying life saving resources are essential elements of preparedness. Best practices for restoring shelters, rebuilding services and returning, preventing and handling environmental exposures and infections should be in place before the events.
