What is it about?

Cutaneous apocrine cystomatosis is a rare non-neoplastic condition of uncertain cause. It involves apocrine sweat glands and needs to be differentiated from the neoplastic counterpart. We described the clinical, histological and immunohistochemical characteristics of an unusual generalized case in a dog, with a short review of the comparative aspects in cats, pigs and humans.
