Why is it important?
WILLOSATE is a glyphosate based herbicide that is widely used by farmers as a non-selective herbicide. Previous studies have shown that glyphosate is safe for use on plantations as well as personnel handling it. Formulations of glyphosate on the other hand pose complications on functional systems of the body of the handler of the herbicide especially if exposed over long period of time. Explanation concerning these findings has not previously been backed by substantial proof and thus offer confusing reporting on glyphosate and glyphosate formulations on physiology and biochemistry of body cells. This study confirmed the involved of the formulants of glyphosate on reproductive impairment and biochemical pointers of cellular function.
