Tracheal dilatation as sign of fetal airway obstruction in case of oral cavity tumor

What is it about?

In case of oral cavity or cervical tumors there is need to determine if there is a complete blockage of upper airway to planned an EXIT surgery. We report that tracheal dilatation in the ultrasound scan is a confident sign of complete upper airway obstruction
