What is it about?

Is internationalization the same as globalization? Using a comparative analysis of six business schools (PSFs) case studies in the United States and Europe, we found that the engine of internationalization influences its paths and outcomes. Data gathered between 2012-2014 in three countries (39 interviews; half of them face-to-face).

Why is it important?

Business school (PSF) strategy has become extremely complex, especially regarding internationalization. Using different paths, experiencing failure and success, business schools have internationalized, attracting many of the international students who contributed $27 billion to the US economy in 2014. However, current internationalization models are incomplete and Uppsala must be extended.
