What is it about?
This article about concentrated load carrying capacity of channel cold-formed steel channel section with fastened to supports.

Why is it important?
Cold-formed steel sections are vulnerable to bearing failures due to a larger width to thickness ratios. There are no design rules available to predict bearing capacities of unlipped channel sections fastened to supports, which is used by industry. This paper address this issue.
