What is it about?

This is the abstract of a poster presented at the Annual International Conference of the Australasian Sonographer's Association in Melbourne, Australia (May 2016). The poster described a potential case of stump appendicitis, a condition where the base of a surgically removed appendix can become inflamed, weeks or even years after the appendix is removed.
