What is it about?

A very practical approach to the software inspection process is explained in a very simple way. This approach is so simple, practical, and cost-effective that it can be implemented in small and medium enterprises where they lack funding and resources.

Why is it important?

Software inspections detect most defects in the early stages of the development process; this technique is not a common practice in the software industry, especially in small and medium enterprises, due to its cost implications and lack of resources.

Perspectives

I hope this article makes the owners of small and medium enterprises(SMEs) and software developers seriously think to apply review/inspection in the entire development process starting from the beginning i.e requirement to end i.e., testing and deployment. SMEs think that review/inspection are always extra burdens on their finance and resources but the suggested model is a solution for them because it suggests adopting software inspection even if you don't have the finance to hire software inspectors.
