What is it about?

This paper describes the challenges that patients with Kallmann syndrome/congenital hypogonadotropic hypogonadism face in relation to intimate relationships and sexuality.

Why is it important?

Our findings show that despite long-term treatment (with sex steroids), many of these patients struggle with intimate relationships and have difficulty engaging in sexual activity. This difficulty can have a major impact on quality of life.
