What is it about?

Endothelial colony forming cells are a well defined subtype of endothelial progenitor. This study tested them as a cell therapy for the ischemic retina and optimised key basic questions: - How many cells to inject? - How to inject the cells? - What happen in cells are injected into a healthy retina?
