What is it about?
Resilience of buildings in earthquake prone countries is very important. Created by the author seismic isolation strategies are representing the best way for construction of various types of buildings and structures which will be highly reliable and will suffer no damages during the future earthquakes

Why is it important?
Seismic isolation not only saves buildings and people who live, work, study in them, but also saves expensive equipment, furniture and non-structural elements. It significantly increases the quality of people's being, since the impact of the earthquakes in seismically isolated buildings people feel less from 8 to 10 in comparison with the conventional buildings
Perspectives
Understanding and further implementation of seismic isolation strategies will help scientists and engineers across the world to widely apply these unique and low-cost concepts developed by the author in Armenia
