What is it about?

This research work contributed to increase the existing knowledge of the novel pesticides effects on important group of parasitoids, Trichogramma. The present study is unique because of very deep understanding for possible adverse effects of pesticides on the various immature stages of parasitoid inside the host eggs.

Why is it important?

Most of the pesticides used were investigated and found compatible with the immature stages of T. pretiosum, therefore many of the tested pesticides can be integrated with Trichogramma in the agroecosystem.

Perspectives

I am hopeful that this article add to the existing knowledge and will lead to more successful IPM and will be key to develop sustainable of agriculture.
