What is it about?

Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) is a subset of pulmonary hypertension. Treatment options are limited in the pregnant population, and first line therapy is generally pulmonary thromboendarterectomy (PTE). This is the first case report to describe the use of inhaled iloprost for CTEPH in a pregnant patient to improve patient symptomatology and hemodynamics.
