What is it about?

The present studies focused the quick, simple and low cost fabrication method of graphite filled carbon fabric reinforced polymer composites for high temperature structural applications. The results showed significant improvement in mechanical as well as dynamic mechanical properties of the composites.

Why is it important?

This is important for material researchers, since no information available in open literature indicating the use of graphite flake in the polymer composites at very high level of loading and no one have studied the effect of graphite flake on the mechanical and dynamic mechanical properties. Therefore present study may be helpful to understand how the graphite flake affecting the thermo-mechanical performance of the carbon fabric based polymer composites. The co-relation of interfacial interaction parameters with mechanical properties help to understand the researchers how the properties changes with respect to change in these parameters.

Perspectives

I hope this article may be helpful to understand the material researchers to make deep understanding about the graphite flake filled polymer composites.
