What is it about?

Highly tough and flexible nano-composite hydrogel films that have been made by hybrid ionic and chemical cross links. By addition of clay, physical cross links appear in the structure of the hydrogel and it changes the mechanical and water absorption properties of them. These materials can be used as wound dressing films because of having good mechanical properties and slow release mechanism.
