What is it about?

This work has described the manufacturing, characterisation and testing of hybrid composites reinforced with sisal fibers and silica nanoparticles.

Why is it important?

This work is important because it showed an effective dispersion treatment for nanosilica and could still prove a better performance in the properties of composites with five layers of aligned unidirectional and bidirectional sisal fibres.

Perspectives

A high-quality work done very carefully in which show the properties of a type of composite assembled differently with five layers of tensioned fibers in parallel with an entire model unidirectional and the other with sisal laminates 90 and 0 °. And still show a truly effective dispersion treatment for nanoparticles.
