Why is it important?
OAB has a growing prevalence among women, mostly after menopause. Anxiety and Depression are also common in those population. So, our aim was to identify if OAB can represent a trigger of those symptoms.
Perspectives
We found correlation between severe OAB symptoms (in particular urgency-incontinence) with anxiety and depression. Multidisciplinary approach, including psychotherapeutic treatment, to those patients can improve their outcomes.
