Why is it important?
Our work shows that vitamin D deficiency may be the reason for body pains in people who are other wisw healthy. In pure vegetarians this is a real problem as there are no vegetarian dietary sources of vitamin D.
Perspectives
In recent years, vitamin D has been associated with many diseases hereto never thought related. Slowly we are discovering more roles of this vitamin.
