What is it about?

Early and more accurate imaging biomarker for dementia

Featured Image

Why is it important?

We believe that the relative contribution of impaired microcirculation and altered microstructure bears crucial and early signature of the presence and type of dementia. We propose a strategy to measure simultaneously proxies of these two components to probe brain tissue in vivo.

Perspectives

This was our first paper at CISTIB from the OCEAN project. We have an exciting team doing great work so stay tuned as there are several manuscripts on the pipeline!
