What is it about?
The assignment of the broadening NMR peak is very difficult. Because it is difficult to resolve the broadening peak. We have shown for the first time that the broadening peak of the oligomeric graft of the graft copolymer can resolve by NMR pulse techniques.

Why is it important?
The maleic anhydride (MA) -grafted polyolefin (PO), MA-g-PO, is an important material in polypropylene (PP) compounds for automotive applications. 1H NMR spectroscopy, a very rapid analytical method, can be used to differentiate monomeric grafts from oligomeric grafts only. This shows the possible discussion of the property of composites that have MA-g-PO as the compatibilizer using the new parameter of grafted MA dispersity.
