Why is it important?

The main contribution of this manuscript is the presentation of a relatively simple nodule detection scheme that has a very good performance in an extensive experimental analysis. In addition, the proposed feature set has helped in reducing the false positives significantly and has increased the sensitivity of the proposed system.

Perspectives

This article is quite special for me not only because of the quality of work but because of the co-authors with whom I got the chance to work on this and fine tune my research.
