What is it about?
Bandpass filters are an important electronic component. It is essential to improve the electronic system performance. As the name band pass, it passes signals at a specific portion of frequencies and attenuate signal outside this band. Normal bandpass filters are designed for low insertion loss and a specific band of operation. While, on-chip bandpass filters require small size as an essential factor to avoid the cost increase.

Why is it important?
On-chip passive components such as bandpass filters presented in this manuscript are essential for a fully integrated system-on-chip solution. But, the main problem of the passive components is the size. So, we presented a possible technique for miniaturization of a bandpass filter in this manuscript while maintaining low insertion loss.
