We use nature-inspired evolutionary algorithms to adapt neural networks to optimally classify antibiotic molecules.

Why is it important?

The designed artificial neural networks are simple and can be visualized to gain information about important features of molecules. With their help, we found novel peptide molecules that are able to kill bacteria.
