What is it about?
Charcoal production is a major activity in woodland areas of South eastern Kenya. Through the use of remote sensing and interviews we have shown that the woodland area is steadily reducing with many adverse effects. The residents, though aware of the negative side effects of charcoal production have no option but to make charcoal for daily income
