What is it about?
Habituation is a neurological phenomenon in which responses to stimuli are progressively reduced with the continuity of the stimuli. Habituations in vestibular responses were detected in patients with central vestibular disorders. Many of these patients also showed hyperactive responses (hyperreflexia)

This paper was concerned with different temperatures in caloric tests that made easier the detection of habituation and hyperreflexia.
