Why is it important?

understanding the co relation between type A personality and increased vocal fold problems as a preventive and management parameter to work with.

Perspectives

Though it is difficult to advice a complete personality change to individuals suffering from benign vocal fold lesions known to be caused by vocal overuse, our study does highlight its role. Changes from type A to Type B personality may be attempted in small steps in patients suffering from chronic or recurrent vocal fold pathologies.
