Why is it important?
Bilateral ductus arteriosus (DA) with anomalous origin of the right pulmonary artery (RPA) is rare, and usually presents with heart failure and pulmonary hypertension in early infancy.
Perspectives
Prenatal diagnosis is important as prevention of postnatal closure of the right DA through administration of prostaglandin E1 can be achieved.
