Why is it important?
Functional outcome was assessed not only by questionnaires but also by functional tests. Scores derived from functional tests, consisting of daily life activities, are more objective compared to questionnaires. Short- and long-term functional test scores, could be helpful to more accurately predict functionality after limb surgery.
Perspectives
I hope this article is a starting point for research in which more use is made of functional testing instead of questionnaires alone.
