Why is it important?

Demutualization discourages insider trading, window dressing, and market abuse. Due to the consistency of decisions, it brings about stability in stock markets in terms of number of listed companies, number of transactions in the equity market, stock index, and market capitalization.

Perspectives

Demutualization, owing to a change in ownership from a guarantee limited to public limited leads to better stock market growth.
