Crystal structure of mebendazole A

What is it about?

This work reports on the crystal structure determination of polymorph A of mebendazole by means of X-ray powder diffraction data. As mebendazole presents polymorphism, the identification and quantification of phases become feasible with the use of this structure.

Why is it important?

With the determination of this structure it is now possible to perform quantitative phase analysis, with the use of the Rietveld method, with the available structure already determined of polymorph C of mebendazole.
