What is it about?
We seek to analyze the impact of any increase in agricultural productivity on off-farm employment. This is theoretically done as an extension of Lewis' model and empirically on a sample of African countries using robust econometric regressions.

We take into consideration the characteristics of sectors while assessing growth impact. This constitues an important limit to "New Growth Theory".
