It is important to know the determinants of economic growth. We focus on income inequality because is a relevant issue for the wellbeing. We analyse if income inequality could slow down or foster economic growth and the mechanisms through which this could happen

Why is it important?

This paper is important because we conclude that the mechanisms underlying the relationship between economic growth and income inequality differ depending on the income level of the countries.

Perspectives

Currently, I am working with my co-authors on this topic and this paper presents the results we have obtained up to this moment. It is like the first milestone in this line of research
