Why is it important?
This study shows that ICP-MS can accurately measure multiple essential minerals in blood at the same time—from common ones like sodium and calcium to trace elements like zinc and copper. Unlike older methods that usually test one mineral at a time, ICP-MS allows for a comprehensive and efficient approach to mineral testing, offering exciting possibilities for both clinical practice and research.
