What is it about?

Amino acid sequence in a peptide or protein is important to determine its three dimensional configuration structure, thus its biological function. We developed a multi-dimension liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry which can be employed to determine the primary structure (amino acid sequence) of a short peptide easily, quickly, and directly without result to a protein library. In addition, the D- or L-enantiomer of the amino acid can be determined.
